I can't tell you the number of people that tell me they checked their horse and could not find the smegma bean and then I check and remove a large bean. I think the issue is people are not comfortable doing this so they are naturally leery or cautious about not being too aggressive and has a result the bean is missed. Unfortunately Buddy did not have a bean to remove, but knowing there is a hole and knowing the bean will be hidden behind the hole, may help people clean their horse properly.

This bean is worked out if the horse is having regular sex, however, since we geld most male horses, many do not every learn how to have a sex with a female so this is never cleaned out.
