Xavier Burgin was chosen to be one of the 15 filmmakers to participated in the Lenovo "Seize The Night" Film Your Own Ending Competition. Lenovo, the world's #2 PC maker and Ideas United, the creators of Campus Moviefest (CMF), teamed up to give student filmmakers from around the globe the opportunity to create alternate ending to Lenovo's acclaimed "Seize The Night" ad supporting the company's recent Ultrabook "Book of Do" advertising campaign.
The 15 filmmakers chosen received a production budget to create their alternate endings that visually capture the essence of Lenovo's latest Ultrabook devices.
"I was overly-excited when I received word I was chosen as one of the 15 filmmakers to shoot an alternate ending," recounts Xavier Burgin," but excitement soon turned to frenzy when I realized I had little over a week to finish a final product. Xavier quickly pulled together a conglomeration of TCF alumni and undergraduates for the project.
"We're honored to partner with Lenovo to empower our top young filmmakers to create unforgettable content, as we both believe that the next generation of storytellers are hungry for the opportunity to share their visions," said David Roemer, Co-founder and CEO of Ideas United. "Lenovo is 'for those who do', and our particpants fit that description perfectly.
