In this video I teach you how to make a roll of reusable fabric "paper" towels for your kitchen! Stop wasting money and paper buying roll after roll of paper towels and make your own instead! I love repurposing items into something functional and this is just the project for using old or thrifted towels. It's a "green" and environmentally friendly project that everyone should consider making. They will also make great gifts!
This is a super easy beginner sewing project and even if you've never sewn before you will be able to make a set of these kitchen towels with my step-by-step instructions.
Materials you'll need for this project: - Old towels - cotton fabric for backing (I prefer flannel but whatever you have will work) - thread - sewing machine - walking foot (optional but HIGHLY recommend when sewing bulky layers of fabric-can be purchased here: http://amzn.to/131iVej) - snap kit (can be purchased here: http://amzn.to/10LfafF) - iron/ironing board - rotary cutter + mat - scissors - pins
