Kianoosh Sanjari (Persian: کیانوش سنجری) is an Iranian student and devoted blogger well known for his cyber political activism who was arrested in Tehran on 8 October 2006 together with the cleric Hossein Kazemeyni Boroujerdi, and Kayvan Ansari while reporting on clashes between the Basij forces and supporters of the secularist cleric.
Amnesty international has emphasized the case of Sanjari in its campaign for freedom of expression irrepressible.info, as Sanjari's charges stopped him from commenting and reporting the clashes on his blog, in a country where state media is heavily censored.
