Special Agent Wright and others talked about the FBI's handling of intelligence information relating to potential terrorist attacks. In his remarks he accused the FBI of obstructing investigative efforts that might have prevented some of the September 11 attacks. He said that during the course of his investigations into money laundering he found evidence of potential links to terrorist plans and further said that superior officials actively sought to limit the investigation. Following their remarks they answered questions from reporters. Mr. Schippers participated via telephone.
