Nursing facilities should always strive to be survey ready, but we are all human and sometimes mistakes are made. When a nursing facility receives their statement of deficiencies, they have the opportunity to dispute citations through one of the Informal Dispute Resolution (IDR) or Independent Informal Dispute Resolution (IIDR) processes. This webinar will help nursing facilities to work toward being survey ready, provide tips on how to work with the DOH surveyors when they are in the facility and teach how to prevent unnecessary citations. It will also provide tips on when to file an IDR/IIDR, how to write the IDR/IIDR and what documentation to include.
