Home to more than half of the world's wild tigers, India is their best chance for survival. But the numbers are dwindling across the country. Hunting tigers is a specialized job. Without access to basic livelihood, education or healthcare, the tribal hunters are easily roped in by wildlife syndicates. These poor people are as desperate as the big cat for survival. NOTE: My first documentary (2006-07). I never shot before making this film and it shows. Some problems with edit, too; and my piece-to-camera is, well, clumsy. Anyway, with all those glitches, this short film tries to offer a very different perspective to tiger conservation. That's it.
