Health inequalities continue to pervade our society. What is information obesity and what implications does this have for health? Having too much health information, and a lack of the skills to appraise and use information, is associated with disadvantage. I urge you to take action to make information poverty history by campaigning against public library cuts and by supporting open access publishing and open data initiatives.
