DSSG Fellow Diego Garcia-Olano talks about work with the Mexican government agency SEDESOL on identifying citizens in need of social services.

The Eric & Wendy Schmidt Data Science for Social Good Fellowship is a University of Chicago summer program to train aspiring data scientists to work on data mining, machine learning, big data, and data science projects with social impact. The Data Fest is our closing event where each of our 12 teams talks about their summer work with a government or non-profit partner.
