Vegan Baked Beans sound like a delish idea, even though I have never made them at home before. Like any good ole southern girl, I feel complied to eat baked beans in the summer time, but being vegan, I have to minus the pork. Hopefully, we can make these vegan baked beans great.
What do you need to make homemade vegan baked beans :
1/2 medium onion, chopped 6 cups cooked navy beans or 4 cans 1/2 cup tomato sauce 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 1/4 cup agave nectar 2 tablespoon yellow mustard 2 tablespoon liquid smoke 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon How to make vegan baked beans:
Pre heat oven to 325 degrees F.
Stir together onions, olive oil, navy beans, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, agave, mustard, ketchup, and water.
Transfer pre-cooked vegan baked beans to a large baking pan.
