I have one hive in my backyard and the bees haven't bothered anyone. They aren't aggresive at all. I love watching them fly over the fence after they have been collecting pollen. I have several jars of honey. I started my hive after a swarm appeared in my yard. It's such a fun hobby. I have a privacy fence around my yard so I doubt if anyone else even knows the hive is there. Would your neighbors see your beehive?
Gotta love swarms! I never get tired of watching other peoples videos on them. I've caught plenty myself but I'm still fascinated

Kinda looks like coco krispies going down the kitchen drain. I plan to use a new hive setup. Then i only need to move it. Nothing else, for a time.
It looks like they're getting sucked into the box even though they are just walking into it...

I see the old maple tree, makes me wonder what state you are in. I log here in WA. state, and many of those old maples have bee hives in them. In fact one summer I dropped one, and when it split, honey flowed out by the gallons, we saved all we could. Crazy though, only 1 lone bee was to be found, I expected a swarm !
