From the creators of TapeDeck:

Hello, and welcome to TapeDeck!

TapeDeck is a powerful and fun audio recording application exclusively for Mac OS X Leopard.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we've enjoyed making it for you.

Here are some quick instructions to get you started. For more information, click the "Help" menu, and choose the "TapeDeck Help" item. Or, visit tapedeckapp.com.

Recordings in TapeDeck are called "tapes."
To make your first tape, click the red "Record" button at the bottom of the TapeDeck window.

Don't worry about accidentally overwriting this instructional tape. TapeDeck never "records over" any of your tapes.

When you have finished recording, click the "Stop" button.

Your new recording will be automatically rewound and ready to play, which you can do by clicking the "Play" button.

The rewind and fast forward buttons take you backward and forward through your tape, like a real cassette recorder.

Every tape you make is stored in the "Tape Box," which is a drawer that slides out from the right-hand side of the TapeDeck window.

To open or close the Tape Box, click the gray rectangular notch at the center right of the TapeDeck window.

Inside the Tape Box, click and drag to scroll your list of tapes up and down.

Click on a tape to load it for playback.

Your current tape will be removed first, and put back in the Tape Box.

You now know enough to get going with TapeDeck.
Please feel free to click on things and explore; if you have trouble, or want to suggest a feature or report a bug, use the Help menu.

Thanks again for downloading TapeDeck!
