A group of 30 individuals, including myself volunteering as the MC, attended a 30 minute ceremony to begin serving the Articles of Freedom in front of the State Capitol in Springfield, Illinois beginning at 2 pm CDT on Monday, April 19, 2010.
Similar ceremonies were conducted on April 19th in All 50 State Capitols at the exact same time. After our ceremony we served the Governor of Illinois, the leader of the House and Senate Chamber of the Illinois Legislature, the local Congressional representative's office and the two Senators - Richard Durbin and Roland Burris.
Where do we go from here? Follow up with your state and federal representatives. Start a dialogue. Confirm that they know about the AoF. Help educate them. Schedule appointments for face-to-face meetings. Get them to understand how serious and urgent things are. Ask them how they plan to implement the remedial instructions from the AoF. Do not let them assume we'll just go away! Continue telling the "uninitiated" about the AoF and the true state of our Republic. In addition, please consider serving Notice of the Articles of Freedom on all local and county public officials who have taken an oath of office, especially your County Sheriff and Constables. Consider local judges, commissioners, municipal police chiefs and officers all the way down to your local Ward Leaders and Judge of Elections. They need to know what has happened and to hear it from Constituents. If you do serve Notice of the AoF, please email a Certificate of Service to your state coordinator as well as to firstname.lastname@example.org. We want to have a RECORD of each person who has been served.
Thus begins a new page for our history books. How the story ends is all up to you.
