And I started The Business Exchange in 1998 because I was looking to buy a business and I couldn't find the marketplace where businesses were being bought and sold so I decided I'm going to create the marketplace.
Today The Business Exchange magazine has thousands of businesses for sale.
We're really the only resource that you need to go to if you're looking to buy or sell your business.
People ask me is print dead and the answer is absolutely not. The reason why is that, for us, we have a free circulation.
Free circulation is so important. We're on every corner. We're so easy to pick up.
So my vision for the company is that we really wanted to dominate our space and, as such, we decided we were going to be an online portal as well.
The Business Exchange magazine is great for people who are trying to get ideas.
The website is great for people who already know what they want and wanna do a specific search.
People often ask me why we started franchise shows and the reason is that, all of a sudden, we were not invited to attend any franchise shows across the country.
Our magazine had explosive growth. People were getting such a good response and other show managers were feeling a little bit threatened by it and we felt that it was hurting our business So we decided... you know, we're gonna put on our own franchise show and it has been such a blessing for us because it really has helped us promote The Business Exchange brand and make The Business Exchange brand a household name.
Personally, as the founder and CEO, I'm passionate about The Business Exchange and our products and providing the best lead generation for our advertisers.
I always look for win-win, long-term relationships with our clients. We've had some advertisers that have advertised with us since our very first issue.
But I think we've really grown over the years and our clients are really benefiting from the synergies that we've created by being the market leader in print, online and in person.
The bottom line is we deliver the results for our clients.
