ATTENTION! Please note that my new page, entitled ANOTHERWORLDlover, has clips of "Another World". In the future the new page will be the one that is updated with clips of the show. Having a separate page for the show will be beneficial for easier organization, distribution and access. So please subscribe to ANOTHERWORLDlover. The eps uploaded on EDSTER73 are already included on ANOTHERWORLDlover. In about a month (today is 10-06-08), I'll be deleting the clips from Edster73 so only ANOTHERWORLDlover will have them. If you want your comments preserved, then please copy and paste them onto the new page. Thanks. Please spread the word!

ANOTHER WORLD: Frankie Dies (Stalker Storyline) Pt. 33

The firing of AW alumni Alice Barrett was a sad and devastating blow to the fans of "Another World" for it set in motion the decision to kill off the character that she had portrayed for seven years: the beloved Frankie Frame.

Though brilliantly performed, the storyline is infamous for the controversy it sparked among the show's fans and the soap's executives as well as for the grisly violent way in which the character was murdered. The show never recovered from the loss of Frankie who, in many ways, represented the heart of the show.

In Part 33, Gary continues to question Sharlene about Fax. She has little to offer except that his mother was deceased and that he had a trust fund. He was supposed to offer the hospital money through his father but it never came. He also loved the woods but wouldn't hunt the animals or fish because "he couldn't stand to kill another living creature."

Gabe tells John and Michael that there's still no sign of Josie.

Josie is still unconscious as rats start to crawl over her.

Joe stops by Carlino's on his day off from working on the stalker case.

John and Michael express frustration over the lack of news from Gabe about Josie, who is still unconscious with rats crawling all over her.

Josie dreams about Gary finding her and when he fades from her, she awakes.

Vicky and Donna head to find John and Sharlene to offer to help.

Sharlene demands from Gabe and Joe to be kept informed about Josie. She eventually calms down and all involved talk about how proud they are of Josie for her help in cracking the stalker case.

Sharlene blocks Michael and John's advice to "get some rest."

Jake and Chris arrive at the police station and are able to convince a reluctant Joe and Gary that they plan to print material to help find Josie.

Grant arrives and tells Sharlene that the governor would send the state police to look for Josie if she's not found in 24 hours. Sharlene states she knows Josie will be found by then.

Josie, awake finally, uses a shovel to free her bonds. With her hands and wrists bloodied, she tries for the door but the door is locked. In desperation, she lunges for the door and yells for anyone out there to let her out.
