Thick as Thieves a great beat, old lyrics, new lyrics and a wide range of songs and tunes proving in their performances that they are one of the bands on the way up from Saginaw, Michigan. I wondered why is everyone raving over their live performances. This was just my nephews band, for heavens sakes. I asked my son if he was going, he said he wasn't sure but if I was going I better go early. I said why? He just replied, you'll find out... I did, the place was packed! Talented, fresh, and in my words "groovy" are the best words to describe them. My nephew Kyle Mayer played his old organ with lots of rhythm sounds backing him up and Kyle switches back and forth from the organ to his guitar, and then rap artist Jacinto Herrera puts his two cents in to truly round out the eclectic performance by the band. They are described by John Vasquez as; Engaging and dynamic, the ever-changing roster brings a new sound to every performance. We knew this was going to be good but to our surprise on this night, it was GREAT. We all enjoy their performance. Watch for them as they rise. Of course this filming is a little dark due to the clubs lighting but the music is well recorded. The show included rock 'n' roll, hip-hop, jam, jazz, pop, and ultimately, rhythm and blues, combined to create some great sounds, the band had everyone moving in the nightclub!
