Jill Karlin has been painting her classic "American", naive, charming, portraits of homes, buildings, businesses, museums, civic organizations, pets, municipalities since 1975 when she painted The Captain Fisher House in Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard, the home her great aunt and uncle rented as an "Inn" until their deaths in the mid 1980s. People the world over have collected Jill's art, and these portraits make wonderful heirlooms, capturing a moment in time, and the history of a place for all time and posterity.
