I obtained these strange outserts recently. They are supposedly for use at night in maintaining natural night vision while around light sources. There is no NATO stock number and no packaging. Adding to some suspicion, they smell just like cinnamon candy...yes, that's right, cinnamon candy.
But that aside, they do feel and look legit. They are definitely not filmed and I have confirmed this. They are optically pure as well. No bubbles or distortions. From what I can tell, they might be real.
Either way, I think they look great, far better than these S10s on the market with aftermarket red lexan lenses.
The mask here is an MF10, a mask marketed by a US company, KX Defense. I believe the masks just to be remarketed Avon S10s for sale to law enforcement(and military apparently...although I'm not sure about that), fitted pre-packaging with a US 6-point elastic head harness. This MF10 is brand new and never worn. Pretty nice buy for $9.
I am mainly showing the outserts here. It isn't intended to be an overview of the mask.
