FREDERICTON - The Eastern Canadian Rugby Championships wrapped up yesterday at the Loyalist Rugby Grounds in Fredericton.

The Nova Scotia Keltics beat the New Brunswick Black Spruce 43-23 to finish round-robin senior play. Leading the way for the Spruce was Josh Davies with one try, two conversions and three penalty kicks. Hosam Mobarek also had a try.

Nova Scotia led 19-16 at halftime.

The Newfoundland Rock cruised to the under-20 title by defeating the Québec Caribou 25-14.

The Nova Scotia under-20 Keltics won third place with a 25-12 victory over the New Brunswick Timber.
