These things go anywhere and get back home again. Yes there expensive but when your on your own and in the meddle of no where you need good gear.

i agree with you, Australians have awesome 4x4 equipment, but for 40k us dollars, TOTALLY not worth it... flip the axles of a coleman tent trailer and some bigger tires, your set lol

I agree, seems like anything worth while or useful is no longer thought of in this country, big, bigger, biggest is all I see lately..I drive a Nissan frontier 4x4 and they don't make a camper you can tow with confidence or off road in this country..
GlocKittyXe
haha that's what i said! and yes with the kenyan/muslime fraud squatting in what was our white house, this thing would be perfect for getting a start off the grid

WHY WHY are all these cool tent campers only in AU??? everyone i look at is from there. Maybe I must be an Australian at heart . I have a Subaru Baja and I have a custom '57 Heilite Tent camper that weights in at a ultra light 400lbs loaded . With the Obama Regime cranking up cost of living and gas . Cant see buying a big heavy pop top camper . Thanks for the ideas though , I take bits and pieces from all these builders and make my own version
