Amazing Kid Andjela Stojkovic was born in Serbia and emigrated to Canada as a young girl. She began playing tennis at eight years old and was eventually enrolled in the prestigious Brentwood College to focus on her talent and challenge herself academically. Now in grade 12, she is the school's top tennis player, ranked as the 2012 High School Provincials Doubles Champ and the 2012 BC Provincial Girls Under 18 Doubles Champ. She is also ranked in the top 15 in the US Tennis Association's PNW section and has been ranked as high as 5 in BC and 31 in Canada in her age bracket. This year she had the privilege of being the only Canadian ball girl at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California where she got to meet her tennis idols including Roger Federer, Maria Sharapova and fellow Serbian Novak Djokovic. At Brentwood College, she is one of the top academic students and was voted as the school's President by her peers and teachers. In addition to spending 20 hours a week on the tennis court, she volunteers at a senior care facility and plays piano in her school's rock band. She hopes to earn a tennis scholarship at a U.S. university and hopefully one day go pro.
