René Leibowitz (1913-1972) leads the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in a performance (dating to 1960 I believe) of JS Bach's Passacaglia and Fugue in C minor, BWV 582, as arranged for two orchestras by Leibowitz. I created this music video from the LP shown above, a bonus record that was included in a Reader's Digest "Treasury of Great Music" collection issued in cooperation with RCA in 1964.
All images used in the creation of this video were taken from the LP and LP sleeve, with the exception of those images of Bach which appear at the close.
