A very depressing ending to a very depressing movie.

It's difficult to appreciate this without having the rest of the movie as context, so by all means, watch this movie!

Well Jared is going to take home an Oscar for dallas buyers club this year. But I was shocked to know he wasn't nominated for this movie, he was brilliant beyond words.

I don't know whose predicament truly is the worst.  People argue that Tyrone had it best because while in jail, at least he will be able to get off his drug habit. But it will still be brutal without a detox program, not to mention the racist prison guards there. And what really waits for him when he gets out? Harry not only lost his arm, but has to go back to jail, too. The worst part is that he is right; Marion truly won't come. They said their goodbyes indirectly the last time they talked (phone scene). Marion's is the most disturbing in the sense that she's still out there, reduced to prostitution to support her drug addiction, not getting clean. What solidified it was the haunting smile she had while she cradled her score. Sara's was the most upsetting. From her red hair and red dress being gone to her friends in the waiting room. All I could think of was when she said earlier "They don't need me" and then they cry over seeing her in a mental hospital. Not to mention that she hasn't let go of her dream. This film is truly a masterpiece. Gets me every time. :(
