To the best of my knowledge, this has not been done or published before. The Weber Q grill is great for direct grilling. However, due to its single burner, indirect grilling is not feasible. Neither is smoking, because the temperature tends to get too high. This is my first attempt at water-smoking ribs on the Weber Q. I used a large flat water pan and two smoker boxes placed directly on the burner. The wood chips are apple. The ribs came out perfect!
