In May, 2011, we were on safari in Kenya. While at Lake Nakuru National Park, near Baboon Hill Outlook, we saw a Dik-Dik, the smallest antelope, acting very strangely. We saw movement in the grass near the Dik-Dik and finally saw what had the animal so agitated - a 2 meter long python. The encounter was one of the strangest animal encounters we've ever seen.(Sorry, I say "2 foot long python" on the video - my mistake!)
