Blood On A Bus [San Diego Blood bank Donation] (Agent619 vlog Ep.#13) Today we show a snippet of what it is like to give a blood donation to the San Diego Blood Bank at Saint Michael's Church in Paradise Hills/San Diego. The #SDbloodbank is ALWAYS in need of blood donation, and I do mean "always". Part of the challenge is that most people do not like needles, let alone having a needle continuously attached to them for nearly 10 minutes. Because most people don't normally subject themselves to the pain of the needle insertion, most people don't donate blood. That creates a very large imbalance between the need-of-blood and the delivery-of-blood to needy patients. So if your sense of community service is lacking or if you want a way to give back to your community, here is one source. Give blood. Even in this video, I get a little nervous before I step into the blood donation bus. But after the two tiny 1 second amounts of pain, a comfy recliner chair, unlimited snacks and drinks, and a sense that I have sacrificed "just a little" to save someone's life; then I realize that it was worth the time, effort, and discomfort. I will probably never see the person whom my blood has saved, but I know that good karma has embraced my Agent619.com real estate business, so I pay it forward with a pint of blood at a time. I invite YOU, to consider making a blood donation and feel the sense of giving back to our local San Diego community. The small discomfort hurts less than emptying out your entire wallet for a monetary donation somewhere else. LOL!
