We rescued Humpty after she became stuck in the mud, trapped in a fast drying pond in Lamu, Northern Kenya.
Tiny and weak, she would have died if left on her own – thankfully, our team were able to rescue her and bring her to our Kaluku Field Heaquarters where she was offered rehydration fluids, milk and a long shower for her delicate skin.
Humpty is in safe hands now, and has fast become known as a headstrong individual who loves nothing more than to wallow in her pool or suckle on her carers’ fingers.
