Musikkteknologidagene Artist Talk - Oslo, Norway - 2012
by Nathan Wolek (

In 1937, John Cage boldly imagined a future with instruments that "will make available for musical purposes any and all sounds that can be heard". For this artist talk, I discuss how this quest to make sounds musical has impacted the development of three pieces. These works include an audiovisual collaboration, a sound composition and a multi-channel installation.
