Partnership Brokers in the Canterbury-Bankstown area of Sydney brought together a range of community members to form the Parental Engagement Strategy Partnership. This group facilitated consultation sessions bringing community, education and parent stakeholders to identify the challenges experienced by parents when engaging in their child's education. These sessions provided a foundation for action, allowing the partnership to develop a tailored, strategic approach to achieving its goal of increased parental engagement.
