This national webinar is a production of the U.S. Administration for Native Americans. Presented Aug. 13, 2015 by Kaʻānaniʻau LLC, operators of the the ANA Pacific Region TTA Center.
Ecotourism is defined as "responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment, sustains the well-being of the local people, and involves interpretation and education." Demand for ecotourism is on the rise! Learn how you can share you culture and environment in responsible, low-impact ways while developing your local economy through ecotourism-based ANA projects. In this webinar, we featured two ANA ecotourism grantees: the Native American Samoa Advisory Council (a new grantee) and Chickaloon Alaskan Village (recent former grantee).
