Stress is a mismatch between what you perceive as stress and your ability to cope.
Over 75% of all illnesses might be stress related in some way.
Parents and carers of disabled children are often severely stressed.

Why?

Because caring for a disabled child is a 24/7 task, often with no holidays or weekends off from it.

In this video Research Psychologist Elmira Strange is talking about the problems that these parents and carers face. For example, issues with employers, their families and friends, and so on.
