Nadine is Navajo and Pueblo (Isleta/Laguna) from Bluewater Lake, NM. She began working with SAGE Councils as a community organizer in 2006 working on Native American healthcare and environmental issues.

She currently serves as the Coordinator for the Multicultural Alliance for a Safe Environment (MASE), a coalition of grassroots organizations working to address the uranium legacy that still plagues many communities. This is her story, as told at the NGO Non-Proliferation Treaty Conference at Riverside Church, NYC.
