The 2010 Neighborhood Leadership Institute (NLI), a rigorous, 12-week training for Dayton's current and future neighborhood and civic leaders kick off and orientation was held at the historic Patterson Homestead on March 16th. The NLI welcomed more than two dozen participants, ranging in age from 26 to 66, from neighborhoods throughout Dayton, Ohio. During the course participants will become better acquainted with local government, gain leadership skills, tour the city as a group and complete an individual leadership project. The 2010 NLI is presented by the City of Dayton, Sinclair Community College, the NLI Alumni Association, and the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority.
