A Pilates technique to understand what is meant by "neutral spine" or "neutral pelvis".

Technique Visualisation:
Imagine your pelvis as a large mug of tea. If you spill the tea out of the front of your mug you will be arching your spine away from the mat. As you spill the tea out of the back of your mug you will be imprinting your spine into the mat. Both times you have lost what we call neutral.

Technique Watch Points:
Keeping the knees soft tilt the pelvis forward and back a few times.
