WHICH DIRECTION HOME? is a festival of new work inspired by The Odyssey. 8 Directors from 6 countries have used Homer's epic poem as a base to create wholly original theatrical material that encompasses a myriad of themes including home, mystery, choice, identity and myth.
The Blind Trip is focusing on the exploring of senses, by denying the one most associated with theatre : the sense of seeing. The performance will take place in 5 spaces and it will be available for one audience member at a time. All the audience members (split in hourly slots) will be welcomed in the lounge, where they could watch some short movies from all around the world, created specially for this performance. One by one they will be blindfolded and invited by the guide in their own journey. They will go in each room, and in each room it will be a show they could not see, but they could feel and experience. The audience member is aloud to take of his blindfold in a single room, at his / her choice, but in that moment the trip is over. For example if he chose the second room, he will miss completely the other next three rooms. Each room will have a performance based on a different theme, and offering a different experience, all will be very tempting to see, but for different reasons.

The Blind Trip aims to be a show created by a huge collective of artists, from all around the world. So far artists from London, Paris, Athens, Hong Kong, Berlin, Munich and Bucharest confirmed their participation. And this is only the beginning! :)
