We get a lot of questions from people concerned about wrist pain when getting started with handstands and other gymnastic-type movements.

It's completely natural that you'd have some discomfort in the beginning. After all, you're probably not used to supporting your weight on your hands. You'll need to spend some time strengthening the joints.

These simple warmup movements can help prepare your wrists, elbows, and shoulders for this training. As always, if you have persistent pain, get it checked out by a medical professional.
