Among the millions of things I would have changed, and besides the fact Sherry could barley walk with the pant skirt thing I made for her, I wish someone had told me to button my shirt the hell up!
After working in Milan for several years, I came back to the states to try and develop a piece of software for the apparel industry whereby one could design clothing. Many meetings with developers and investors later, the consensus was that the technology just wasn't there yet to make it happen. Frustrated, I bought a 216 K Macintosh computer the second it was released and took a lame but sincere stab at designing the front end of an app. to show the world is was possible however tedious it may be. I got a lot of press at the time for designing clothes using a computer, and was interviewed for a segment on a TV show called FAMILY COMPUTING. I appear about two minutes into this video & my dear friends Sherry Vigdor and Nadya Khamnepur are the fab models that make their debut about 6.5 minutes in
