Pieter T'Jonck (curator) talks about "NoHorizon" by Eric Joris + CREW, part of "SuperBodies" at Z33 (04.02 till 13.05.2012)
Eric Joris develops 'immersive theatre', a form of theatre in which the audience does not look at the action unfolding before him from the outside, but is completely immersed in it through complex electrical means.
In NoHorizon the viewer experiences how his senses play tricks on him in a border zone between a virtual and physical space. The perspective does not change for the person pushing the cart. The bystanders, however, discern a disturbance in their senses and orientation.
