This week we're hooking you up with information on the 5th Annual Gele Day. For the past 4 years, the WRAP your beYOUty Movement (WYBM) has invited indigenous sisters to join forces in the name of healing and spiritual/emotional growth & power. The divine purpose and goal of the WYBM is to foster emotional/spiritual healing in Women and girls ultimately to support and uplift our men and boys, WYBM also includes meditation & intention-setting, creative movement & other life-giving, positive energy-producing workshops and circles facilitated by local Artists, Coaches, Dignitaries and Sisters/brothers with love in one of it's many forms to share. Gele Day addresses the WHOLE Wombman and is facilitated near water representing the continuity and regeneration of life that Wombman represents. Headwrapping/Cultural dress, Indigenous Song & Dance, Meditation and Goalsetting are high-frequency mini workshops that are facilitated throughout the day.
