Crash JP Morgan campaign visits The Simpsons' Springfield.

My first Synfig Studios animation effort.

I was mainly getting to know the program and experimenting with movement, layers and fades etc.

The subject matter just gives an indication of where my thought process is situated at the moment, re: Fiat currency and what a collapse will entail for the "common man on the street".

Operating System - Ubuntu Linux 9.10 Karmic
Graphics - GIMP 2.6.8
Animation - Synfig Studio 0.62.2
Sound Mix - Audacity 1.3.11-beta
Final Audio+Video Mix - Avidemux 2.5.2
HD (1280x720) Version - WinFF 1.0.4

Original Synfig Resolution = 768x432

Time: Two weeks (on and off) to read online text based tutorials, and view video tut's. A couple of days searching for images and sound effects to use. A day or so in GIMP to create .png's with transparent background etc. Two days for actual animation. One day to 'cleanup' and mix final result.

This is my first 'real' animation project. I have only made frame-by-frame animated .gif's in Windows before (a few years ago now).
