Cynthia Miller

Each year, the Delphi Center for Teaching and Learning invites UofL students to nominate faculty, staff, and graduate teaching assistants who have made a significant difference in their learning and intellectual growth. A total of 203 faculty members were nominated for the 2012-2013 academic year, and Cyndi Miller, an assistant professor in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics, has been named a "Top Four" Faculty Favorite nominee. Her student nominators describe her as passionate about teaching while providing a caring and respectful learning environment. As one student noted: "Dr. Miller is an excellent instructor, both in her lectures and in the materials she provides outside of class. It is obvious she cares about her students and wants them to do well, and she anticipates where students may have problems comprehending the material."
