We demonstrate on our shop turbo-equipped S2000 what an ignition misfire looks and sounds like. There are some things to first look into before diving deeper or spending more money on the ignition system. We check the plug gap and then move on to a higher heat range plug to fix the problem. Making more power means increasing the BMEP or cylinder pressure, this puts more stress on the ability of the spark to jump the gap. The higher the cylinder pressure, the higher the HP, the harder it is to jump the gap. It doesn't mean you have to spend a ton of money to fix it. This is Boost Tech 101. More tech to come in this series.
