The Warrior Becomes One With All Things | The Way of the Warrior | Mosaic - Erwin McManus

What does it mean to be one with God’s creation? Even as one of God’s most highly complex and extraordinary creations, we seem to not fully understand how connected with everything we truly are. In fact, we study creation as if we’re outside of it – why is that?

Pastor Erwin McManus reveals this wayward understanding of our role with nature stems from our disconnect with both our creator and with each other. We believe we were never intended to be one with the whole. Not believing in God makes it hard for a person to feel connected to a creator and His creation. Hurtful experiences cause us to flee from a connection with others. And often, our last resort is to try to instead, become one with nature. But within us, we have a deep longing to reconnect, to all of these things, but yet we are not sure of how to do this or what drives this need.

A re-connection to God, to our source and to our creator, means also reconnecting to everything else in this world – the people around you, along with the creation you are a part of. God has created everything to be interconnected, and that is what we should aim to return to.

"When you’re connected to love, everything that comes out of your life is good." - Erwin McManus
