Tight band.  No loose ends.  Rock-solid beat courtesy of veteran drummer David Robinson.  Lead guitarist Elliot Easton is a key part of the sound - always right there with the right notes and rhythm - an underrated player.  Excellent lead vocal by Benjamin Orr.  Nerdy Greg Hawkes rocks with his electronic sounds.  All this still sounds great after all these years.

This is great stuff! My favorite part is at the end, watching the interaction between Ben and Elliot clearly having a good time

LOVE BEN'S SMILE!! I just melt!
It really is rare thing when you find a group which is made up of members that are all at the top of their game and I believe that the Cars were one such group. Everyone of them played their instruments flawlessly and with great competence, and my musical experience dates back to the early 60's Beatles. Damn did David Robinson have one big drum kit! My favorite Cars song and performance. And yeah, Ben Orr's smile was so great, as if to say "Are we having fun or what?". Thanks for a timeless upload!
damn even the live stuff was so tight, no bs computers to make them sound good
