For the second video choreography of the new videogame "LET'S DANCE with Mel B", leading publisher Black Bean Games chose Gloria Gaynor's biggest hit and popular disco anthem I Will Survive. The song was released in October 1978 and it is one of the most famous disco songs of all time remaining Gaynor's biggest hit. It received heavy airplay in 1979, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and in the UK on consecutive days.

"LET'S DANCE with Mel B" decided to include a glorious hit from the disco music like I Will Survive since it reminds one of the best dancing atmosphere of all times. The popularity of this genre peaked during the middle to late 1970s and it was used as a reaction by New York City's gays as well as blacks, Latinos and heterosexuals against both the domination of rock music and the demonization of dance music by the counter-culture of this period.
During the disco era, many nightclubs would commonly host disco dance competitions or offer free instructional lessons.

For this reason I Will Survive represents many and many dancers all around the world that feel nostalgic of the powerful disco beat or just want to be protagonist of the legendary disco club scene.

Challenge your friends to a real dance floor duel and see which one of you will be the king and queen of the party!
