Pictorial history book celebrates the Nebraska State Fair through more than 200 vintage images and captions.
The book, written by local historian and author Mary L. Maas, gives readers a nostalgic walk down memory lane. "I wanted the photographs to give a bird's eye view of how the fair tasted, smelled, and the wonders that filled everyone's eyes and ears as they walked through the animal barns, sat in the grandstand seats, wandered the exhibition halls, and sauntered along the rows of the vendors," says Maas.
Both the book and the companion postcard set are available at local Nebraska retailers, or from the publisher online at http://bit.ly/NebraskaStFair
