I wrote Evening Prayer on a still night as I was sitting and meditating with my guitar.

You can download the track at http://danielml.bandcamp.com/track/ev...

I used my Taylor 12-string, T. Mead Mandolin, Shalloch Djembe, Yamaha Orchestral Bells and my viola & voice on this track.

Lyrics:
Here I sit, I wait for Thee,
You, who knows my every need,
My hands are open and empty,
My heart beats soft and patiently.
I breathe Your name
And I sing Your grace,
I turn my eyes
And I seek Your face,
Oh Christ, Who is my best of friends,
Give me this day my daily bread.
The day yawns deep and heavily,
Sleep o'ertakes me steadily,
Thoughts, like moons, reflect Your light,
Prayer, like breath, lasts through the night.
I breathe Your name
And I sing Your grace,
I turn my eyes
And I seek Your face,
Oh Christ, Who is my best of friends,
Give me this day my daily bread.
