Edna Tatum has become one of America's renowned commentators in the Gospel music arena. Her career began extending words of welcome, reading Sunday morning announcements, introducing choirs, groups and soloists.
Her ability to articulate and communicate the word of God has launched her into a vast arena of Gospel artists from coast to coast. "The Voice," as she is fondly called, has hosted concerts and narrated for such gospel legends as Rev. James Cleveland, The So.Calif.Commun.Choir, The G.M.W.A and various other artist. Ms. Tatum is also widely recognized as part of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, Inc.
Ms. Tatum continues to participate in hosting and commentary roles but also enjoys her role as a gospel radio announcer on KPFK-FM 90.7 in Los Angeles.
Billy Preston's list of credentials is one of the most impressive in the music business. But long before he scored his first gold record, long before he formed the many wonderful associations he enjoyed with the world's top performers, and long before the world tours and stage appearances he participated in as a rock & roll and soul artist, Billy was singing and playing gospel. When James Cleveland recorded his first album with the Angelic Choir, Billy was on the organ.
He became well know in the gospel field, recording his own gospel album "Hymns Speaks From The Organ," before he started his secular recording's, and making a new fan base worldwide. Billy also wrote several well know songs including "You Are So Beautiful." Billy was a master of several instruments. He was also ranked with Maceo Woods and Alfred Bolden.
