After spending 15 years in a federal prison, Clark Porter used education to turn his life around. Today, having earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Washington University and an MSW from the University of Missouri--St. Louis, Porter is a program support specialist for the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Missouri. He is the only ex-felon in the federal system nationwide fighting to keep some of the toughest repeat offenders out of trouble and on a path to a new life.
