COVINGTON, Ky (WKRC) -- Covington police say the shooting of 19-year-old
Desean Peterson was part of an ongoing dispute. The teen was shot during a drive-by in front of a home on Garrard Street
early Sunday and died from his injuries.

Four of the suspects in the shooting are in jail without bond. Reginald
Bates, Hassan Abdullah. Eugene Smith and Mikyle Holloway were arraigned
Wednesday morning. All but Holloway are charged with Peterson's murder.
Holloway is charged with tampering with evidence.

Two 16-year-old boys are also facing charges in connection with the
murder. Police have said more arrests could be coming but they say
they're confident one of the six in custody is the gunman.

Police spokesman Spike Jones said today that the arrests came about as a
result of an intensive police investigation and the community refusing
to accept a crime like this one.
